Feeder separation: Farmers to get fixed 10-hour power supply for tubewells

Currently, power supply to agricultural and domestic consumers is made through common feeders because of which fubewells also get electricity supply for longer hours resulting in wastage of power by farmers and overloading of system at peak time.

Private agri tubewells guzzle over 20% of UP’s power

But the contribution of agricultural pump sets to UP Power Corporation Ltd’s (UPPCL) revenue is significantly lower at just a little more than 9%

RLD back in the corridors of power in Uttar Pradesh

Interestingly, in 2003, the RLD separated from the BJP to taste power in the SP government, and 21 years later, it parted ways with the SP to become part of the power structure in the BJP government. The party has come a full circle.

U.P. poised to unveil 182 renewable energy projects worth over 1.30 lakh cr

“A total of 182 projects related to renewable energy, with investment of ₹130210.35 crore are ready for launch in the GBC on Monday,” a senior official of the department of alternative energy said. “Only those projects for which land has been made available and which have got the government’s nod have been selected for the groundbreaking ceremony,” he added.

All RLD MLAs authorise Jayant to decide on alliance

An RLD MLA told HT after the meeting in Delhi that a formal announcement on the RLD-BJP alliance was expected in a day or two after Jayant Chaudhary had a meeting with the top BJP leadership on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return from the foreign tour.

Paddy procurement at MSP: UP falls short of target, claims farmers prefer open market
