Year after murder, an apology email from Sheena’s account to Peter

Almost a year after Sheena’s murder, Indrani Mukerjea, on March 14, 2013, sent an email to her husband Peter, from a fake account created in Sheena’s name, part of the charge sheet which HT has accessed, apologising for how she had tried to “disrupt his and Indrani’s family life”. Sheena was murdered on April 24, 2012.

‘Why has Sheena disappeared?’ Rahul asked Indrani, Peter in email

A day after his arrest in the Sheena Bora murder case, INX Media co-founder Peter Mukerjea, husband of prime accused Indrani Mukerjea, was charged with murder and criminal conspiracy by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which said he had played an active role in the killing of his step-daughter. Defence lawyers say they plan to go to high court

Seven RDX bombs had ripped through the first class coaches of Mumbai's suburban trains on July 11, 2006, killing 188 people and injuring 829.
