Patient raped in Karnataka govt hospital, 1 arrested

The incident happened at Gulbarga Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) to which the hospital is attached, and the accused was arrested on the same night, police and hospital officials said.

Two arrested for offering meat at B’luru temple, say police

On February 22, the two persons went to the temple and gave the garland to the temple assistant, requesting him to garland the idol. In the evening, when the priest took the garland to put on the idol, a piece of meat fell from the plastic packet. Empty cartridges found in reserve forest

Forest watcher killed by wild elephant in Bandipur reserve

According to officials, Bomma, a tribal attached to the anti-poaching camp of the tiger reserve, was attacked by an elephant while patrolling on foot. Hunt on for man who stole Karnataka govt bus: Police

According to police, the bus was parked at Chincholi bus depot on Monday night by driver Ayub Khan and conductor Erappa. The bus came from Bidar. The driver and conductor slept in the restroom at the bus depot and when they came to start the trip to Bidar in the morning, they found it was not there

Two killed in elephant attack in Dakshina Kannada
