Lalu Prasad Yadav airlifted to AIIMS Delhi as health worsens

An eight-member medical board at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) recommended that the former Bihar chief minister be shifted to a higher institute after he developed breathing trouble on Thursday evening.

Lalu, 72, has tested negative for the coronavirus disease, the doctors said.(PTI)

Lalu Prasad Yadav shifted to AIIMS Delhi as health worsens

He will be admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as decided by his family members in consultation with the doctors of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).

RIMS Director Dr Kameshwar Prasad said it seems to be a case of acute pneumonia and he has been put under round-the-clock observation.

Jharkhand minority welfare minister Haji Hussein Ansari dies battling Covid-19

Born in Pipra village in Madhupur block of Deoghar district, Ansari started his political journey in late eighties with the Congress. Influenced by JMM chief Shibu Soren, he joined the regional party in the nineties when the Jharkhand movement was at its peak.

Ranchi rail division aims at revenue boost after losses

The BDU, led by senior divisional operating manager (DOM) Niraj Kumar, on Wednesday met with Federation of Jharkhand Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) representatives in this regard.

Cases related to Pathalgadi movement and connected with opposition to proposed amendments in land tenancy laws will be dropped and FIRs lodged in various police stations will be withdrawn.

Some of tribal belts, especially in Khunti district had witnessed a separatist movement--Pathalgadi.
