Absconding Dera head accused of rape nabbed in Ludhiana
Police on Sunday arrested rape accused Dera Gobindpuri head Sarup Hari from Ludhiana railway station. As per the police, Hari had returned from Madhya Pradesh and was planning another hideout in Ludhiana when he was nabbed. He was produced in a local court on Monday that sent him to police custody.

20 pilgrims killed in Hoshiarpur mishap

Dengue hits Hoshiarpur;17 patients test positive
At least 17 patients in the local civil hospital alone have tested positive for dengue in the last one month or so. As many as 5 cases have tested positive in the last few days. The number of suspected patients is much more. Private hospitals too have reported confirmed dengue cases but the district health authorities are not maintaining their record.
