Professor Raghunathan Srianand has been appointed as the director of the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics in Pune. He is a renowned Indian cosmologist and astrophysicist, known for his groundbreaking studies on redshift evolution and the cosmic microwave background radiation.
