Coming soon, online database on fingerprints of criminals
The National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) has planned to develop a comprehensive online database of fingerprints of criminals and convicts from every state by 2017, a project that will help improve investigation and prosecution all over the country.

One complaint in every 22 minutes on women’s helpline in MP
The Madhya Pradesh women helpline 1090 received one complaint every 22 minutes and 67 every day last year and majority of them related to sexual harassment and threat to women on mobile phones, according to police figures.
