The Palearctic naked-toed geckos of the genus Cyrtopodion are a group of gekkonid lizards distributed across the arid regions of north Africa, Arabia, and Central Asia to northwestern India. Morbi tragedy: Oreva’s MD named as accused in charge sheet

The police are yet to arrest Oreva’s MD , who has repeatedly failed to appear before them for questioning. Efforts are on to trace his location, senior police officers said.

In March 2022, Oreva group, a company which specialises in making clocks, home appliances and e-bikes, was given the contract to repair, renovate, maintain and operate the “Jhulto Pul”, or suspension bridge, originally built in 1879, for a period of 15 years (PTI)

Warrant issued, but Oreva group’s head remains untraceable

The police are in the process of filing a charge sheet and the investigation so far points out to Patel as the main accused in the case, according to senior police official close to the development.

The Gujarat police got an arrest warrant from the court more than 10 days ago and issued a lookout notice for Patel at airports and ports to ensure that he does not flee the country. (PTI)
