Meanwhile 13 districts and 8 municipal corporations in Maharashtra, including Malegaon, Nandurbar, Hingoli, Parbhani, Nanded, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Washim recorded zero deaths on Monday

Maharashtra continues to see decline in Covid-19 cases over the past week

On Sunday, Maharashtra recorded 892 new Covid-19 cases and 16 new deaths. The state’s tally has touched 6,617,654 infections and 140,388 deaths. Mumbai recorded 252 new cases and three new fatalities

Even as Covid-19 deaths are on steady decline, Maharashtra’s death toll breached the 140,000 mark, with its tally touching 140,016 on Sunday. Maharashtra on Sunday recorded 1,410 Covid-19 new cases and 18 deaths.

Active Covid cases in Maharashtra dip below 30,000; minor students can take trains

The state has also removed the 200-attendees’ cap for closed halls and has allowed 50% attendees of the total seating capacity
