Kidnap accused found dead in Maharashtra, but no trace of GNDU professor

The case has seen several twists ever since the alleged kidnapping on September 11 evening, when the Hindi professor had gone to meet Garry at a restaurant near the campus over some money he owed her.

NEET counselling: Deadline extended till Sept 7 for Punjab, Haryana

The deadline was missed as, owing to curfew and violence in the states after conviction of Gurmeet Singh Ram Rahim in a rape case on August 25.

Agreeing with the contentions, the apex court extended the deadline, but added that no other state should get the benefit of the extension.(HT File)

NEET 2017: Candidates under all-India quota must join state colleges by Aug 16

Candidates who get their seats in medical colleges in Punjab under the 15% all-India quota for medical (MBBS) and dental (BDS) courses will have to join their respective colleges by August 16
