Fadnavis: If proposed refinery is not set up in Konkan, it can be relocated to Kerala or TN

Deputy CM Fadnavis has stated that if the proposed refinery is not set up in the Konkan region, it could be relocated to coastal areas of other states like Kerala or Tamil Nadu. He also dismissed the possibility of setting up the project in Vidarbha. The refinery project, initially proposed in 2015 in the Nanar region of Ratnagiri, is facing protests and has been relocated to the Barsu region. Fadnavis acquitted in case related to non-disclosure of criminal cases

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been acquitted by a Nagpur court in a case related to the alleged non-disclosure of criminal cases filed against him in his election affidavit. The court ruled that the non-disclosure was an oversight by Fadnavis' lawyer and would not have affected the election outcome. Fadnavis served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra from 2014 to 2019.

In three days, 5 farmers in Vidarbha die by suicide

Five farmers, including a woman, have died by suicide in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, India, due to agro-crisis and financial issues.
