Rajasthan’s SOG drops sedition charge, transfers horse trading cases to anti-corruption bureau

The SOG’s decision came on a day the Rajasthan high court was supposed to hear a petition of rebel Congress MLA Bhanwarilal Sharma seeking quashing of SOG case against him or referring the case to National Investigation Agency as sedition charges were pressed against him.

Amaravati to remain Andhra capital till Aug 14, HC stays govt order on 3 capitals

On July 31, the Jagan Mohan Reddy government issued two separate notifications – one on abolition of AP Capital Region Development Authority formed in December 2014 to develop Amaravati as the capital of AP; and the second one on formation of three capitals for the state.

The high court ordered the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government to maintain status quo with regard to Amaravati as the capital city of Andhra Pradesh .(ANI)

CBI searches 11 locations in Jammu and Kashmir in encroachment case
