In two months, 50,000 caught speeding on Yamuna Expressway

Cameras installed on the expressway used to record speeding vehicles earlier as well. But traffic police physically stopped vehicles only during special drives and not more than 700-800 challans were issued in a month.

In 2017, the authority had introduced measures to implement the Solid Waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2016, in the city. As part of this, hi-tech composting machines that could be installed within housing societies were introduced.
