PCS judicial exam: HC turns down request for revaluation of answer sheets

At least 159 posts were advertised by the Punjab Public Service Commission on September 6, 2022. The preliminary exam was held on January 22 this year, followed by main examination held from June 2 to June 4 this year

Petitioner had approached the high court in 2017 after the government did not reimburse the money he had spent on liver transplant surgery at a Bengaluru hospital in 2016. After he filed the petition, a reimbursement of ₹10 lakh was made.

266 drug overdose deaths in Punjab in three years: police in HC

Delay in illegal mining FIRs probe: HC summons Rupnagar SSP, two other officers

The suspension orders, issued by chief secretary Anurag Verma, came hours after the Punjab government informed the high court that it is withdrawing its notification dissolving all gram panchayats in the state, a move that is being seen as a major embarrassment for the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP regime

The Punjab government on Thursday suspended two senior IAS officers of the rural development and panchayats department with immediate effect for taking a “technically-flawed” decision regarding the dissolution of panchayats. While panchayat elections were to be held on December 31, zila parishad and panchayat samiti polls were slated for November 25.

High court: Cryptic orders being passed in RTI complaints
