“With talented directors and producers willing to take risks, content has become the most important thing in movies. I’d like to take up roles where I get to learn as an actor,” says Ghatge, who would love to act in another sports-based film. “I have sports in my blood. I was into swimming, running, and a lot of other sports, so I’d love to do a sports movie,” says the 26-year-old, who was recently in the Capital to promote her new film, Rush, which hits screens tomorrow.

Delhiites are known to get crazy on seeing Bollywood celebs. Ask Ghatge about her experience, and she says: “In Mumbai, it’s not uncommon to see a filmstar hanging out in a mall or a market. But since it’s very uncommon in Delhi, people here, get excited when they see them.”

For the Maharashtra girl, Delhi is the second city after Mumbai, where she spends a lot of time. “Delhi has always been very welcoming. I have a lot of friends here who I hang out with. I love the food of The China Kitchen at Hyatt and I always go there with my friend. I think Delhi food is a rage, anyway!,” she says.

The actor was once quoted as saying that Chak De was a mistake. But Ghatge clarifies: “I was misquoted. I was angry about this. What I said was that I was not mature enough and I probably did some mistakes after the film.”
