Fugly is out.
The movie also stars actor Jimmy Shergill, Mohit Marwah, Arfi Lamba and newcomer Kiara Advani.
Set in the bylanes of Delhi, Fugly aims to be a fast-paced entertainer. The trailer comes across as rather average, till Jimmy Shergill makes an entry. We see an uncouth police officer (Jimmy) harassing the youngsters (Mohit, Kiara and Arfi) even as he abuses his powers as a cop.
After Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster and Bullett Raja, Jimmy has perfected the act of a goon. Here, he aces the act of a corrupt official blackmailing youngsters.
Directed by Kabir Sadanand, Fugly is produced by Grazing Goats (owned by actor Akshay Kumar and producer Ashvini Yardi) and Alka Bhatia.
Talking about the film, Sadanand had earlier said, "It is a social thriller film with a message."
Interestingly, the movie also features a picturised on Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.
Fugly is set to hit theatres on June 13, 2014.
