Starring Mishti and Kartik Aryan, the film is the story of a girl's fight against the system and society.

It begins innocently enough, with Mishti in her mist-laden mountains reminding you of Sneha Ullal in Lucky. The scene soon shifts and the trailer moves on to graver issues such as corruption, revolution and change.

The trailer also shows Mithun Chakrovorty and Adil Hussain as political leaders.

Kaanchi is slated for release on April 25.?
