Channeling her creativity, MUA Cherry Peswani creates looks to admire

Using makeup as an aid to the flaws one has, and to make one feel confident, this makeup enthusiast is experimenting new trends in her profession through her sheer hard work and dedication.

Cherry Peswani is a professional makeup artist who believes that makeup is an indelible art and is widely popular among her clients. Having pursued her Bachelors in Elementary Education from the prestigious Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University, she was always interested in choosing something creative as her career. She got married at a very young age of twenty-two, and began her job as a teacher, which she still considers as a very noble profession. But after being blessed with her very first child and realizing that there was no one in the family to take care of him in her absence, she dropped out from our teaching job of two years.

She started living her life as just another ordinary housewife, now being mother to two children, taking care of her family and raising her kids. Interestingly, whenever she used to step out of her home to attend various events like family gatherings, kitties, parties or any special occasion, she used to receive appreciation in bulk for her artistic makeup skills which made her realize the artist hidden within herself. Therefore after waiting for several years, just because of her hesitation and nervousness, she finally made up her mind to pursue a makeup career in the year 2018.

She enrolled herself in Pearl Academy to learn more about the art of makeup. But here also, things were not as smooth as she expected as she discovered that her batchmates were mostly very young aged girls, and on the other hand she was a mother to two children in her late thirties. Her story had a silver lining as her family was very supportive and they displayed exemplary friendly behaviour throughout her course by helping her in her files, projects and submissions on time.

After completion of her course from Pearl Academy, Cherry Peswani did various short term courses. Moreover, she also took some makeup coaching classes and dived herself completely into makeup after years of practice. Carefully observing the several transformations with makeup made her realize that makeup is truly an art form. She found it so intriguing that once she was approached by Mrs. India Delhi NCR beauty pageant as a makeup artist but she ended up enrolling for the same and eventually won the pageant too!
