The Supreme Court’s recent ban on the sale of BS-III emission norm-compliant vehicles this week has worried customers and two-wheeler dealers alike.
Bike and scooter companies are now offering last-minute deals to clear stocks of vehicles with the old emission standard. Many have offered deep discounts while others have clubbed two vehicles in a deal price for the cost of one.
There are around 750,000 estimated two-wheelers lying in showrooms across India and with just one day to go for the April 1 ban deadline, here’s are five of the best deals you can get:
Honda Navi: Reports say Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India is giving the Honda Navi, a small commuter bike, free of cost if someone purchases a Honda CBR250R.
Honda Dream Yuga, Livo and CB Shine: Honda is giving a flat Rs 18,000 off on these motorcycles. On Honda Hornet 160R, there is a discount of Rs 18,500.
Hero MotoCorp: The company is offering up to Rs 12,500 as rebate in the form of discounts and free insurance on most of its products. The discounts are available on products such as Splendour, Glamour, etc.
Ducati Monster 821: The superbike, which is sold at Rs 13.7 lakh is being offered with a Rs 2.7 lakh discount, for a limited period of two days. The effective price of the vehicle is Rs 11 lakh.
Bajaj Pulsar: Bajaj Auto is offering discount of Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000 on its bestselling two-wheeler. The deduction comes in the form of cash discount and other benefits.
