With Donald Trump winning the US election, Trump Organisation of which he is the president is likely to become more valuable.

The price premiums of Trump Towers in Mumbai and Pune is already 35% and 60% as compared to adjacent properties in the vicinity.

Trump Organisation has interests in real estate development, property management, brokerage, etc. Currently, Trump is linked with five projects in India.

Trump first entered the Indian market in 2011 when he signed an agreement with Rohan Lifescapes for his high-end luxury project on Hughes Road in south Mumbai. But the deal fell through.

Later, they partnered the Lodha Group and Panchshil Realty to build Trump Towers in Mumbai and Pune.

“India probably has the highest number of Trump’s real estate projects outside of North America. Trump has five ongoing deals in India with a gross development value of about $1.5 billion. One project is finished and sales for two have begun.

“Three more projects are likely to be launched in 2017. Demand for the Trump brand in India remains strong both with development partners and with unit purchasers,”says Kalpesh Mehta, founder and managing partner of Tribeca (Mumbai-based developer that is the exclusive India representative for Trump Organisation).
