Centre planning to hike DA for its employees on New Year: Reports

According to HT's sister publication Live Hindustan, the Centre is once again planning to hike the dearness allowance (DA) of its employees under the 7th pay commission. This time, the central government employees will get a 3 per cent increase in their DA and the increase in salary can be as much as 20,000.

RBI keeps key rates unchanged to spur economic recovery

Repo rate, reverse repo rate remain unchanged amid Omicron threat

The projection for real GDP growth is retained at 9.5% for the remaining of the financial year, including 6.6% is Q3 and 6% in Q4. Real GDP growth is projected at 17.2% in Q1 of 2022-23 and at 7.8% for Q2.
