Nuh police bust illegal arms manufacturing unit in MP

Police in Nuh, India have busted an illegal arms manufacturing unit in Madhya Pradesh?s Burhanpur, seizing seven country-made pistols and materials used for making arms. One suspect, identified as Gurdev Singh, has been arrested and revealed the location of the unit. Police have deployed teams to ensure arms are not smuggled into the district from other states.

93.83% students pass SSC exam in Maharashtra

The state pass percentage this year has seen a drop of 3.11 per cent compared to last year’s results. In 2022, the pass percentage of the state was 96.94%. In 2021, it was 99.95%, in 2020 the pass percentage was 99.95%

MCG recommends FIR against sanitation workers for disrupting garbage collection

Gurugram's Municipal Corporation has issued a notice to 3,000 protesting sanitation workers and recommended FIRs against them for allegedly misbehaving with civic officials and opposing garbage collection. The workers have been on an indefinite strike, resulting in the pile-up of garbage across the city. MCG joint commissioner Naresh Kumar warned that if the workers did not return to work, action would be taken to dismiss them under the Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994. Many RWAs have hired private agencies to collect the garbage in their areas.

Hold group yoga practice events on June 21: UP CM

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath announced that group yoga programs will be conducted in all 58,000 gram panchayats, 762 urban bodies, and district headquarters across the state to mark International Yoga Day on June 21, 2021. Various competitions will also be held in schools and colleges, and ministers are expected to participate in programs within their districts. The theme for this year's Yoga Day is "Har Ghar-Aangan Yoga," promoting wellness for every family through yoga.

DA probe: HC asks Capt Amarinder’s former adviser Chahal to appear before vigilance

The Punjab and Haryana high court acted on the plea from Chahal, seeking anticipatory bail in which he had argued that an inquiry with regards to two properties have been opened by the bureau and his apprehensions were that in the garb of this, he would be arrested.

Pune records 56% excess pre-monsoon rainfall

Two solvers nabbed by STF in Prayagraj

U.P’s first film museum to come up in heart of Sangam city

Under the Prayagraj Smart City Mission, a film centre in Sangam city will be transformed into a film museum showcasing the rich legacy of North Indian film history. The dilapidated centre, established in 1938 to make educational films during the British rule, will be developed with an amount of around ₹4 crore and the help of Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage. The centre had the best cameras, high quality trolleys, cranes, and recording equipment of its time and had made over 500 films.
