Covid-19 surge: 'Oxygen Express' leaves for Madhya Pradesh from Bokaro

"The 'Oxygen Express' loaded with six tankers having a combined capacity of 64 MT of the life-saving gas left from Bokaro at 5.30 am. It is expected to reach Jabalpur tonight and Bhopal on Wednesday," a railway official said.

'Corona curfew' in Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal extended till May 3

The curfew in the state capital was set to end at 6 am on April 26. It has been extended in Bhopal and Berasia town of the district till 6 am on May 3, an order by Collector Avinash Lavaniya said.

Madhya Pradesh: 12,384 new Covid-19 cases take state's tally across 450,000-mark

With 1,781 new cases, Indore's caseload went up to 96,330, while that of Bhopal rose to 75,405 with the addition of 1,729 cases.

Oxygen tankers being stopped by other states, claims MP chief minister

“Yesterday oxygen tankers for Madhya Pradesh were blocked in several states by some officials. Due to this, time is being wasted and there is a risk of some patients succumbing to the disease,” chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted on Monday and said this is unfair and also a crime.
