Amritpal, aide changed two autos before boarding bus from Ludhiana
Fugitive pro-Khalistan leader Amritpal Singh and his aide Papalpreet Singh had changed two auto-rickshaws to reach Sherpur Chowk in Ludhiana, from where they boarded a bus, said the police, adding that they were trying to trace the bus in which they fled.

Amritpal and Papalpreet were captured in CCTVs at three locations – Ladhowal, Jalandhar Bypass and Sherpur Chowk. He was in the same attire as he was seen riding a motorcycle to avoid the police.
Ludhiana commissioner of police Mandeep Singh Sidhu said they scanned all CCTVs installed on the national highway. The police have also traced one of the auto-rickshaw drivers, who dropped Amritpal and Papalpreet near Sherpur, he said.
Amritpal and his aide were seen at Ladhowal around 9.20pm. They tried to cross the railway line but failed. They paid ₹40 to an auto-rickshaw drivers to drop them at Jalandhar Bypass from Ladhowal. They hired another auto from Jalandhar Bypass to reach Sherpur Chowk, the police said.
Commissioner of police said Amritpal and his aide were seen boarding a bus from Sherpur Chowk around 10.15pm.
