H1B initial registration period to close on March 22

During this period, prospective petitioners and legal representatives must use an online account of US Citizenship and Immigration Services to register each beneficiary electronically for the selection process and pay the associated registration fee for each beneficiary, US Citizenship and Immigration Services said on Monday.

HC orders CBI probe into custodial death of Ludhiana woman

The HC acted on the plea from one Mukul Garg, who had approached the high court in 2020 seeking a CBI probe into the custodial death of his fiancée. As per the plea, Garg and the woman, Ramandeep Kaur were being probed in an alleged illegal withdrawal of money case registered on August 3, 2017, by Dugri police station in Ludhiana.
