Disproportionate assets case registered against retired PWD superintending engineer

Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in a statement conducted a verification into the allegation that Riyaz Ahmad Parray, retired superintending engineer PWD (R&B), resident of Hygam Baramulla has amassed huge assets, by indulging in corrupt practices

It was found during probe that the accused public servant has intentionally enriched himself illicitly during the period of his office & the expenditures incurred and the value of assets acquired/raised by the accused during service period have been found prima facie disproportionate to his known sources of income, said a spokesperson. Chandigarh: After wettest January day in two years, gear up for a chilly, foggy Lohri

Chandigarh’s Air Quality Index (AQI), which had entered very poor on Thursday, is also starting to improve; as per the AQI daily bulletin released by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Chandigarh’s AQI on Sunday was 244, falling in the poor bracket
