“We feel Belgian waffles are not just the most common type but also the most delicious. We serve thick, fluffy and crispy waffles with whipped cream, cut-up fruits, a variety of syrups, ice creams, and other toppings,” says Ramninder, of Belgian Waffle Xpress.
The red velvet and rocky road waffles are our bestsellers. “The starting range for these is ₹175. Our USP is the fact that all our products are made using 100% natural products,” says Waffle Kweenz’s Richa Verma.
Summer is here so the demand for our mango waffles has grown. We don’t just add mango chunks as toppings but also use some pulp in the batter to make it taste great, says Sandeep Chahal, of Get Desserted.
Uncle Jack’s is serving a range of chocolaty waffles including Coco Chanel, Choco Fudge and Nuttela flavours; while Le Gaufers has on its menu sweet as well as savoury waffles with the price starting from around ₹230.
City-based food blogger Amandeep says, “I love Oreo-KitKat and Fruit Jackpot waffles of Ice Pice. They are light on the stomach but taste amazing!”
Another foodie Disha Juneja says that she prefers the blueberry or maple-butter bubble waffles from Magic Oven as the flavours are subtle but taste uncompromised.
