Following the statement of Sumit’s father-in-law Ranbir, a case was registered against the owners of Shiv Fabricate Private Limited under charges of causing death by negligence.
Ranbir told police that his son-in-law used to narrate about the old machinery at the factory due to which chances of a short circuit loomed large and unit being a cotton factory, a fire would spread instantly.
“Sumit has already informed about this to their contractor Mukhtiyar as well as to owners Mohit and Amit that there could be a big incident due to this,” the complaint read.
The case was lodged against Mohit and Amit, both brothers and natives of Panipat city, under Section 106 of the BNS at Israna police station.
