Man convicted for raping Danish woman in 2014, killed in street brawl

Police said Mohammad Raza, the deceased man, was killed at walking distance from the spot where he and four others gang-raped a 52-year-old Danish woman in January 2014.

Delhi Budget: 6-point plan to clean Yamuna amid proposal to expand sewer network

Delhi LG takes up cleaning of Najafgarh Lake after directions from NGT

Officials told the LG that a major portion of the wetland fell in the jurisdiction of Haryana while the wetland in Delhi was largely scattered and accordingly, it was planned to revive the lake as a cluster of small water bodies instead of one big wetland, officials said.

Delhi Budget: 100 new women mohalla clinics, more free tests

Delhi finance minister Kailash Gahlot, who presented the budget on Wednesday, said the government has allocated ₹9,742 crore to health, which is lower than the ₹9,769 crore allocated in 2022-23, amounting to a 0.27% decrease.
