Gurugram cleared of waterlogging as rains stop; IMD predicts drier days ahead

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Chandigarh, the chances of rain in Gururgram and south Haryana are expected to reduce from Monday due to receding cloud activity.

Gurugram rain: Traffic snarls as roads inundated; more showers expected | Videos

According to the IMD, light to moderate intensity rain over and in the adjoining areas of entire Delhi and NCR will continue throughout the day. Gurugram may see spells of heavy rain along with thunderstorms on Sunday as well.

Gurugram civic body likely to issue order today shutting meat shops for Navratri

Intermittent rain to continue in Gurugram today as well, help ease its rain deficit

The weather analysts said owing to the strong cloud cover over Haryana, they are expecting more rain across the state, including Gurugram, on Friday night and Saturday as well. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in Chandigarh said heavy rain could be expected in many parts of south and east Haryana over the weekend

Haryana pollution board mandates construction sites to register on dust control portal

The dust control portal for monitoring pollution levels at construction and demolition sites was launched last year. According to Rao, 56 projects have registered with the portal till now and the response has been positive

Plan to combat pollution in Gurugram to come into effect from October 1

The Commission for Air Quality Management in the National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas issued the revised Grap for the national capital region of Delhi after directions from Supreme Court in December 2021 to invite suggestions from experts and the general public to find a solution to pollution issues

Heavy rain heaps misery on commuters as Gurugram roads get waterlogged

The city traffic police shared frequent updates on their social media handles asking commuters to avoid waterlogged and congested areas. But that was not enough to rectify the situation as sveeral areas witnessed kilometres-long snarls
