Work on Gurugram Metro to start soon, says new GMRL MD

The ₹5,452 crore Gurugram Metro project, whose foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 16, will extend the metro line from Huda City Centre to Cyber Hub via Old Gurugram, covering a total distance of 28.5 kilometres with a total of 27 elevated stations

GMRL will also ensure that areas along the metro alignment and close to the metro stations are developed using the transit-oriented development (TOD) policy. (HT PHOTO.)

Hike in liquor licence fee for bars part of new Haryana excise policy

Haryana’s new excise policy sets fixed prices to curb unfair competition among liquor vends

Alcohol prices set to rise under new Haryana excise policy

The new excise regime will bring the Haryana government an estimated increase in revenue of around ₹250 crore.
