A video of a woman employee of a pizza chain store in Madhya Pradesh's Indore being mercilessly beaten up by four others has been circulated widely on social media.

In the video shared by Hindustan Times' sister website Live Hindustan, the victim, who works at Domino's Pizza, can be seen crying for help while the four women slap her repeatedly and thrash her with a bamboo stick.

The four women are reportedly part of a local gang, and had themselves made the video viral on the internet.

The video shows the gang pulling the woman by her hair, as she cries and pleads for help. After the victim falls on the ground, one of the women starts beating her up with a bamboo stick. When the woman says that she will call the police, one of the assaulters tells her, “Go file a police complaint”.

Some passersby who could be seen in the video make no attempt to save the woman. According to reports, the woman was beaten up for staring at the four women.

At the end of the 16-second-long video, the woman can be seen entering a nearby residence to take shelter.

A report in India Today identified the victim as Nandini Yadav. A case has been registered against the four women based on the victim's complaint. Police said that they were trying to identify the accused in the video.

    Ballari woman sends 900 Rakhis to Indian army on Raksha Bandhan : report

    A 23-year-old woman from Karnataka's Ballari named Vidyasri B has sent 900 rakhis to army personnel stationed at external borders on Raksha Bandhan, The Times of India reported. Vidya reportedly sent these rakhis through an army organisation in Bengaluru, Yodha Namana. Out of 900 rakhis, 300 were sent to soldiers at the Wagah border, 300 to soldiers at the Assam border and 300 to the Border Security Force personnel in Haryana, said the report.

    Saran hooch tragedy: Five persons die, four hospitalised in Bihar district

    In a tragic incident, at least five persons died while four others were hospitalised after consuming spurious liquor in Bihar's Saran district on Friday. Mohammad Alauddin Khan (resident of Audha village), Kameshwar Mahto alias Loha, Ramjeevan alias Rajendra Ram, Rohit Singh and Papu Singh (Bhuwalpur village) died after consuming the poisonous liquor. Four others namely—Ramnath Mahto, Lalbabu Shah, Shankar Rai and Hira Rai are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

    Karnataka: More than 25 arrested in connection with violence in Koppal

    Karnataka Police on Friday said that more than 25 people were taken into custody in Hulihyder village, in connection with a clash that broke out between two communities in the Koppal district on Muharram. Superintendent of Police, Arunagshu Giri, Koppal said, "We have deployed the police and have asked to impose Section 144 in the area for seven days."
