Suicide bid by girl student: Case lodged against assistant principal, four teachers for harassment

The girl, who is a a science student, had allegedly jumped off from the roof of school on November 23 after taking her Physics exam. She had sustained head injuries and is undergoing treatment at BRD Medical College in Gorakhpur where her condition is reported to be critical.

To deter the misuse of weapons, the police on Friday conducted an inspection at a gun house near Bhai Bala Chowk, Ludhiana, but found no discrepancy.
