Police may increase the reward on the arrest of Shaista Parveen, wife of slain mafia-politician Atiq Ahmed, who is accused of helping assailants in the murder of lawyer Umesh Pal and two security personnel. Despite intensive raids, she has not been found and police suspect she may be completing her period of seclusion after her husband's death. At present, she carries a reward of ₹50,000 and police have issued a lookout notice against her.
