Last year, the AAP government highlighted its strides in the field of education in its Republic Day tableau. In 2017, Delhi was participating in the parade after three years.

Owing to delay in sending a proposal to the Centre, the Delhi tableau would be missing from this year’s Republic Day parade on Rajpath.
