Maximum marks in the CBSE Class 12 Biology theory paper is 80. As per the sample question paper released on cbseacademic.nic.in, all questions asked in the exam are compulsory. The paper is divided into five sections and has 33 questions.

CBSE Board exam: Class 12th Biology paper was of 70 marks
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Biology exam for Class 12 students today. The paper was conducted between 10:30am to 1:30pm.
The biology question paper consisted of 33 questions for a total of 70 marks.
CBSE Board exam: Biology paper analysis
Biology 2023 CBSE paper was moderately challenging for average students but who could handle the Section-A will get good grades.
Few MCQ's ( Section A) & Case study (Section D) were a bit tricky & time consuming as questions were to test analytical skills. Assertion-Reason (Section A) was confusing. However Section E (5 markers) was NCERT based. Section C & D questions (2 and 3 markers) were balanced.
The paper was strictly as per the Syllabus with a mix of questions based on application & problem solving.
Overall the Biology paper was balanced and gave students a fair chance to demonstrate their knowledge and problem solving skills.

CBSE Board examination 2023: Class 12th Biology Analysis
“The biology question paper was moderate on the difficulty level. The entire paper was in line with the NCERT pattern, the recommended syllabus for CBSE schools. Section C and E from the question paper was the easiest where all the questions were direct and effortless. The other questions were designed fairly for the assessment of students’ knowledge and understanding of the subject. Overall, the entire paper was balanced with different typologies of the question as per the sample question papers provided by CBSE."

All the questions were majorly covered from the following chapters -
Human Health and Disease
Biotechnology-Principles and Processes
Ecology
Human Reproduction
Principles of Inheritance and Variation
There were a total of 12 easy type questions, 18 medium type questions & 3 difficult type questions. The paper was divided into Five Sections (A, B, C, D & E) covering almost all the parts of prescribed syllabus. The MCQs asked were easy and scoring but The Assertion and Reasoning Questions were a bit tricky.
Diagram based questions especially in Zoology required critical thinking.
The CBSE Class 12 Biology paper was moderately difficult.
Compared to last year, this year's Biology was of asimilar difficulty level.

CBSE paper Analysis: Class 12th Biology exam was east to moderate
Today's class 12 Biology paper level was easy to moderate. The questions were NCERT based with a slight change in language. Starting with section A the MCQ and the assertion reason questions were quite tricky!
Sections B and C were easy. Section D was case study-based questions were moderate. The easiest part of the paper was section.

Biology paper designed to test analytical, problem-solving skills: Teacher
The Class XII Biology examination was designed to test the analytical and problem-solving skills of the students, and I must say that our students have done a commendable job in solving the problems with utmost precision and accuracy. The Class 12 Biology examination was of moderate difficulty level. It consisted of a few tricky questions that involve multiple concepts as usual. The paper had a good mix of MCQs and short-answer and long-answer questions, which allowed the students to demonstrate their knowledge and problem-solving. Assertion reasoning questions were a little confusing for the students. Case study-based questions were based on practical life applications. Overall, the Biology paper was balanced and gave students a fair chance to demonstrate their knowledge and skills.

CBSE Class 12 Biology paper review
CBSE Board exam of Biology Class XII was held on March 16, 2023. The exam pattern and difficulty level were similar as that of the CBSE sample paper. It had questions ranging from easy to moderate in difficulty. Sixty per cent questions were mostly direct and if the students studied well, they have good chance for scoring well. The question paper was balanced and student friendly with a perfect mix of analysis, application and memory based questions. If students read the NCERT Book properly they will score well. Students could readily finish the paper in allotted time. Case based questions had diagrams which made it more comfortable for the students to answer. The MCQ’S were moderate but a few questions were bit tricky and conceptual. Most of the long questions were direct .

CBSE Board examination: Biology exam was modrate
The level of biology paper was moderate. MCQs were highly scoring, however few subjective questions were tricky and required critical thinking. The paper was structured as per CBSE guidelines only, but the overall paper required technical thinking and application.

CBSE class 12th: Biology exam analysis
It was a balanced question paper which was a mix of application and memory based questions.The difficulty level was same as that of CBSE sample paper. Students found Assertion and reason questions bit tricky, Section B ,C ,D were of moderate level and Section E had majorly direct questions. Students who had thoroughly prepared from NCERT , they will score well.
