CBSE board exam 2024 Class 12 exam begins.

CBSE board exam 2024 Class 12 yoga paper today. The paper will be conducted from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Alka Kapur, Principal, Modern Public School, Shalimar Bagh said, “The Class XII CBSE Geography exam paper can be considered well-structured with a variety of competency-based questions. Most of the questions were of moderate to difficult level. Few MCQs were analytical based and needed in-depth study of the content. The map based questions required detailed study and practice. Direct questions were less in number and required understanding across all the topics. Some of the questions indeed required critical thinking, testing the students’ prerequisite knowledge. Overall, this year’s Geography paper was fairly inclusive and most students were satisfied with the questions and are expecting to score well.”

CBSE board exams 2024 started on February 15. Class 10 exams will end on March 13 and Class 12 on April 2.

CBSE Geography paper review: All three sets of Geography Papers were relatively easy. The papers were well-structured with a variety of competency-based questions. However, some questions required critical thinking, necessitating students to draw upon their prerequisite knowledge. The bar graph in question 19 was a little blurred. The map questions were good. Overall, it was a balanced paper and students were satisfied.

In Lucknow, GD Goenka Public School students found the CBSE class 12 Geography paper to be interesting and in-depth .

The objective questions were quite direct and map questions were also to the point and direct, they said.

Most of them were quite concerned about the map work but it was quite direct and easy.

Manjiri, acalss XII student of GD Goenka School Lucknow said that the subjective portion was interesting, the children's comprehension power and clarity of concept were required to answer these.

According to Aastha, the graph question had NO clarity and the variables given were NOT at all clear or identifiable. She hopes that the board will take cognizance of this and moderate marking will be done for same.

Overall, it was an inclusive paper said Aalya.

Most of the students were happy with the standard of the paper and are expecting to score well.

The next CBSE Class 10 board exam paper is Science, which is scheduled for March 2. The exam will be held between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm. There is no exam on March 1 for Class 10 students.

The CBSE Class 12 Geography exam will end at 1:30 pm.

As per the sample paper, maximum marks in the paper is 70 and the total number of questions is 30. The paper is divided into five sections.

General Instructions:

• The question paper contains 30 questions. All questions are compulsory.
• The question paper is divided into five sections. Sections A, B, C, D and E.
• Section A - Questions 1 to 17 are Multiple Choice type questions carrying 1 mark each.
• Section B- Questions 18 and 19 are Source-based questions carrying 3 marks each.
• Section C- Questions 20 to 23 are Short Answer type questions carrying 3 marks each. Answers to these questions should be in 80 to 100 words.
• Section D- Questions number 24 to 28 are Long Answer-type questions carrying 5 marks each. Answers to these questions should be in 120 to 150 words.
• Section E- Questions 29 and 30 are Map based questions.
