CISCE, CBSE Term 2 2022 Live: ISC Physics, ICSE Biology, CBSE paper analysis

CISCE, CBSE Term 2 2022: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) is conducting semester 2 examination for ICSE Biology (Science paper 3) and ISC Physics (paper 1) subjects on Tuesday, May 17. The ICSE Biology paper started at 11 am and ended at 12:30 pm and the ISC Physics paper is scheduled for 2 pm to 3:30. 

The ICSE Biology paper was balanced, according to teachers and students. 

Meanwhile, the Central board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct term 2 examination for some minor papers of Class 10 and Business Studies, Business Administration papers of Class 12. CBSE exams ended at 12:30 pm. 

The Business Studies paper was easy to moderate, as reviewed by students and teachers.

  “The direct questions were quite easy to answer. The case study-based questions were average. Students were able to attempt the paper in time. The paper pattern was similar to the CBSE Sample Paper for Term II,” Bhasin added.

  CBSE Business studi paper moderate, says teacher 

  Shruti Bhasin, HOD Commerce, Silverline Prestige School, Ghaziabad, said the paper was moderate and the questions were mainly NCERT-based. While 40% of the questions were case study-based questions, the remaining 60% of the questions were direct.

  ICSE Biology paper review: Scoring paper, according to students

  The Biology paper was scoring as told by the students of City Montessori School, Aliganj campus 1 , Lucknow.

  According to the students it was a standard question paper with direct questions. All  the questions were from syllabus, they said. 

  Shrishti, Devika and Pranay said, ”The paper consisted of general topics and all the questions were very easy to understand and attempt. "

  CBSE Class 12 Business Studies paper analysis by teacher

  Akansha Pandey, a teacher of Business Studies at MPVM Ganga Gurukulam, Phaphamau in Prayagraj said that it was a well-balanced question paper along expected lines. “The two case studies given were also interesting and most students would have done well in the exam,” she said.

  CBSE Business Studies paper analysis: Moderate paper, according to student

  Shaskshi Yadav, another student of BBS International School, Gohri in Prayagraj found the question paper moderately tough. “We had to answer 12 questions and I was able to do so within the stipulated time period. I hope to score well,” she added.

  CBSE Class 12 Business Studies paper review by students

  Shaksham Mishra, BBS International School, Gohri in Prayagraj said that his exam went well and questions asked were easier than those asked in Term-1 exam. 

  “The question paper was not at all lengthy and all questions were from within the syllabus,” he said.

  Rishika, a science stream student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road branch, Lucknow said that the diagrammatic questions were easy.

  Another student, Samridh, said the paper came from expected portions of the text.

  As per the specimen paper, maximum marks in Biology is 40. There are 2 sections in the paper – A and B. All questions in section A are compulsory but students need to answer only three from section B.

  There is one question and 10 sub-questions in section A for a total of 10 marks. In section B there are 5 questions and sub questions carrying 10 marks each.
