Diploma in Business Journalism and Corporate Communication

Course highlight: Offered by Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, students of this 1-year course are able to get hands on experience through internships, which form an important part of the curriculum. Most students are placed on campus by media houses and advertising agencies.
Admission criteria: Admission to the 40 seats of the course is based on an entrance test with 80% weightage, interview with 10% weightage and group discussion with 10% weightage. The written test comprises Economics and Business awareness (30%), general knowledge and current affairs (20% weightage), general English (20%) and quantitative ability and logical reasoning (30% weightage)

PG Diploma in Cosmetology
Course highlight: Shyam Lal College offers this one-year course in which students study about chemical composition of cosmetic products and their effects on health. Experts from leading cosmetic companies and doctors give students practical exposure.
Admission criteria: The course has 40 seats. All science graduates with Chemistry as one of their subjects are eligible to apply for this course.

Diploma in Conflict Transformation and Peace Building
Course highlight: The two-year diploma course at Lady Shri Ram College draws from sociology, political science, media studies and psychology. It combines lectures, case studies, panel and group discussions, seminars, role-playing, field trips, film screenings and interactions with senior practitioners and scholars.
Admission criteria: Graduates and undergraduates can apply. An interview will take place as a part of the admission process.

PG Diploma in Special Education
Course highlight: This one-year course is run by AADI (Action for Ability Development and Inclusion) in affiliation with DU. It is followed by a three-month internship. The course equips students with special techniques to train differently-abled students.
Admission criteria: 50% is the minimum requirement in graduation to apply. A written test is conducted followed by an interview for selection.

PG Diploma in International Marketing
Course highlight: Diploma in International Marketing (one year) affiliated to Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, is being offered at Sri Guru Gobind College of Commerce. The course is popular among campus recruiters as it equips students with techniques to cope with cross-cultural and cross-market challenges.
Admission criteria: Candidates will have to appear for an entrance test (70% weightage) followed by a group discussion (15% weightage) and interview (15% weightage). The entrance examination will be of two hours duration and will test students in Economics and Business awareness, general English and quantitative ability and logical reasoning.
