NTA has dropped 12 questions asked in different shifts of JEE Main session 1 from the final answer key. As per the NTA police, all candidates will get full marks for the dropped questions.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main session 1 final answer key at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Registration for the JEE Main session 2 is underway. Interested candidates can apply for the exam at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA said that it has taken sufficient care to ensure the correctness of questions. However, if a question is dropped, full marks for that question will be awarded to all candidates.

Paper 1 (BE/BTech): January 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29

The paper 1 test was held in two shifts – from 9 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Paper 2 : (BArch/BPlanning): January 30 (from 3 pm to 6:30 pm).

As per the NTA, the JEE Main 2025 results will be prepared using the final answer key.

Since JEE Main session 1 for the BE/BTech paper was conducted in multi-shifts, NTA scores will be calculated corresponding to the raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate.

The calculated NTA scores for all the shifts will be declared on the NTA websites. This will comprise the NTA scores for each of the three subjects (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) and the total in the paper 1 exam.

• The result of candidates who provide false information, appear in more than one shift/date will not be declared.
• The result of candidates who indulge in unfair means practices will be cancelled and will not be declared.
• The result of candidates who appear from the centre other than the one allotted to them or allow another candidate/person to write the examination on his behalf will be cancelled.

In 2024, 23 candidates topped the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) session 1 exam. No female candidate scored the highest NTA score of 100.

The NTA, in the JEE Main 2025 information bulletin, said that the session 1 result will be announced by February 12. When released, candidates will be able to check the result and download scorecards at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

A candidate had to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹200 per question challenged.

As per the NTA, the JEE Main 2025 final answer key will review candidates' challenges against the provisional key and if they are found valid, the final answer key will be revised.

The JEE objection window closed on February 6.

Ties in the marks of 2 or more candidates in paper 2B (BPlanning) will be resolved in the following order:

NTA score in Mathematics, followed by

NTA score in Aptitude Test, followed by

NTA score in Planning Based Questions, followed by

Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects, followed by

Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics (part- 1), followed by

Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Aptitude Test (part- 2), followed by

Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Planning Based Questions (part-3).

If the tie remains, candidates will be assigned the same rank.
