Goa board (GBSHE) Class 10 (SSC) exam results: 91.57% students pass

Chairperson of the state education board JR Rebello said the pass percentage this year was recorded at 91.57, an improvement from last year. Nearly 18,776 students appeared for the exams and out of which 17,193 passed.
Girls faired marginally better than boys with the pass percentage of 91.40 as compared to 91.18 of the boys.
The pass percentage of special children was recorded at 87.50 as 161 students out of 181 cleared it. Students who appeared under the sports merit didn’t fair well as only 410 out of 8246 passed, recording a pass percentage of just 11.33.
“The pass percentage was recorded to be higher amongst schools situated in the villages than in the city. A total of 73 schools from the village recorded 100 percentage results compared to only 22 schools from the city,” Rebello said.
The supplementary exams will be held from June 19 to 27.
