Bharatiya Janata Party's Dave Vibhavari won the election by defeating Indian National Congress's Rathod Nitaben Babubhai by a margin of 22,442 votes.
97.9% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Dave Vibhavari got a total of 87,323 votes, while Indian National Congress's Rathod Nitaben Babubhai got 64,881 votes. Vyavastha Parivartan Party's candidate Chauhan Sureshbhai Chhabildas grabbed 2,037 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 56.2%, 41.8% and 1.3% respectively.
