The top two candidates split 96.9% of votes between them. Indian National Congress's Dr. C. J. Chavda got a total of 80,142 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Ashokkumar Ranchhodbhai Patel secured 74,406 votes. Independent candidate Raj Prajapati secured 1,128 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 50.2%, 46.6% and 0.7% respectively.
