The top two candidates split 97.1% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janta Party's Dr. Rajeev Bindal got a total of 31,563 votes, while Indian National Congress's Ajay Solankey secured 27,573 votes. Communist Party Of India (Marxist)'s candidate Vishwanath secured 836 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 51.8%, 45.3% and 1.4% respectively.
