Manipur Election: Lamlai Assembly Constituency 2022
Lamlai is the assembly constituency which comes under the Imphal district. It is one of the 60 Manipur Legislative Assembly Constituencies . Manipur Assembly Election 2022 for Lamlai will be held on February 27 and the result was declared on March 10.

It was a close contest with Indian National Congress's Ksh. Biren Singh winning the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Khongbantabam Ibomcha by a margin of just 852 votes.
93.3% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Indian National Congress's Ksh. Biren Singh got a total of 12,339 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Khongbantabam Ibomcha got 11,487 votes. Communist Party Of India's candidate Huirem Bimol grabbed 1,712 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 48.3%, 45.0% and 6.7% respectively.
In Manipur Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Kshetrimayum Biren Singh defeated Communist Party Of India's Pheiroijam Parijat Singh by 1,784 votes.
