Manipur Election: Tamenglong (ST) Assembly Constituency 2022
Tamenglong (ST) is one of the 60 Manipur Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Tamenglong district. Manipur Assembly Election 2022 for Tamenglong (ST) will be held on March 3 and the result was declared on March 10.
In 2017, the Tamenglong (ST) assembly seat had 31,970 registered voters. Of the, 15,650 were male and 16,320 were female voters. 0.4% of votes were casted for NOTA.

Bharatiya Janata Party's Samuel Jendai Kamei won the election by upstaging Naga Peoples Front's Janghemlung Panmei by a margin of 2,004 votes.
The top two candidates split 99.1% of votes between them. Bharatiya Janata Party's Samuel Jendai Kamei got a total of 13,023 votes, while Naga Peoples Front's Janghemlung Panmei secured 11,019 votes. Indian National Congress's candidate Jangamlung Panmei secured 215 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 53.7%, 45.4% and 0.9% respectively.
In Manipur Assembly election 2012, Manipur State Congress Party's Janghemlung Panmei defeated Indian National Congress's Khangthuanang Panmei by 666 votes.
