Tipaimukh (st) comes under the Churuchandpur district and it is one of the 60 Manipur Legislative Assembly Constituencies . People of Tipaimukh (st) voted for Manipur Assembly Election 2022 on February 27 and the result was declared on March 10.

National People's Party's candidate Ngursanglur Sanate grabbed the third spot with 2,167 votes. The top three parties got 42.4%, 37.1% and 18.4% respectively.
In Manipur Assembly election 2012, Indian National Congress's Dr.Chaltonlien Amo outperformed All India Trinamool Congress's Dr . Lalumkhum Fimate by 912 votes.
