'We are forming govt with full majority': Manipur CM confident of win

According to the early trends BJP is leading on 6 seats in the state. The exit polls had also predicted a clear cut majority for the party in the state.

Within an hour of counting Manipur CM N Biren Singh is looking confident of winning the second tenure with an absolute majority.

After offering prayers at the Shree Govindajee Temple in Imphal he told reporters, “I have prayed to God, that the coming five years would be tantamount to the last 5 years with peace and development and that BJP forms government with full majority”

According to the early trends BJP is leading on 6 seats in the state. Biren Singh leading is also from Heingang over INC's Saratchandra by a margin of 2598 votes.
