Aam Aadmi Party's candidate Mohan Singh Phallian Wala grabbed the third spot with 32,011 votes. The top three parties got 45.6%, 31.9% and 20.5% respectively.
In Punjab Assembly election 2012, Shiromani Akali Dal's Joginder Singh Alias Jindu beat Indian National Congress's Satkar Kaur by 162 votes.
