Aam Aadmi Party's Saravjit Kaur Manuke grabbed a total of 61,521 votes, while Indian National Congress's Malkit Singh Dakha got 35,945 votes. Shiromani Akali Dal's candidate Amarjit Kaur Sahoke bagged 33,295 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 45.7%, 26.7% and 24.7% respectively.
In Punjab Assembly election 2012, Shiromani Akali Dal's Srkaler beat Indian National Congress's Ishar Singh by 206 votes.
