Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party's Kailash Nath Sonkar grabbed a total of 83,778 votes, while Samajwadi Party's Lalji Sonkar got 62,429 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party's candidate Tribhuvan Ram bagged 52,480 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties registered 38.5%, 28.7% and 24.1% respectively.
